First Grade

Grade Level Expectations

First grade students at 66th Street School are expected to be good citizens and complete homework whenever assigned.  Students are provided with a variety of engaging lessons and activities and are expected by the end of first grade to become independent readers, writers and acquire grade level math skills.  First grade students are also expected to become proficient in all academic areas by meeting the first grade California State Content Standards.
