Grade Level Expectations

Second grade students at 66th Street School are expected to expand on what they have learned in first grade and apply them across curriculum in more complex situations.  In order to comprehend increasingly challenging material, students are also expected to become more fluent readers.   By the end of the school year, second grade students are expected to become proficient in the California State Content Standards for their grade level.
